Great overall for the 2025 4runner. I do hope that there will be a way to link to the app without turning off android auto. Also maybe add better bracket for interior instalation for rear camera. 4 stars for now since I've only had it for a few days. Thank you.
The features are great, the installation was quite easy and the image is quite clear and bright. There is one negative point. The screen is very reflective and if you try to use this in day light, the screen is bright enough but the reflection makes it almost impossible to use it. If a vehicle is in back of you in another lane, you see that vehicle in 2 different perspectives: the one from the camera displays a vehicle that is somewhat far and the reflection shows the same vehicle superposed over the screen image, but now the vehicle looks closer... very confusing. So in day light, I shutoff the screen and use the reflection as my rear mirror. As I purchased the dash bracket, I will probably move it on the dash and re-use the standard mirror or I will try to put a film to reduce the glare... maybe this will resolve the problem.
I can’t give it a 5 star yet… I’M scheduled at my dealer (Ford) for installation in 2 weeks…
Excellent video quality and area of coverage is better than expected. Very easy to install, but I have done it before.. knew all the trick .
It mirror and recording are so clear. Even my technician exclaimed about the difference in clarity. I'm looking forward to having it as another layer of safety.
